Terms of Service

Effective 11 September 2026 · Versión en español

The important part, first. Everything you produce with Buril is yours: scripts, prefabs, scenes, configuration, the finished game. No copyright of ours, no licence of ours, no royalties — including work you deliver to a client and bill for. If you stop paying you stop using Buril; you do not lose your game.

1. The agreement

These terms are a contract between you and Buril (we, us) for buril.ai, the Buril account, the remote relay, the bundled openmon licences and the support around them (the Services). By creating an account or using the Services you accept them, together with our Privacy Policy. If you accept them on behalf of a company, you represent that you have the authority to bind it.

If your organisation has a signed agreement with us (an Enterprise contract), that agreement governs wherever it differs from these terms.

The Buril bridge package — the software you install into the Unity Editor — is governed by its own licence, which you accept when you install it. Where that licence and these terms overlap, the licence decides what you may do with the software; these terms decide the account, the billing and the hosted services.

2. What Buril is, and what it is not

Buril is a bridge between the Unity Editor and AI clients that speak the MCP protocol — Claude Code, Claude Desktop, GitHub Copilot, opencode. It exposes tools that operate on your Unity project, and it runs on your machine.

Buril is not a language model and does not provide inference. You bring your own API key, or run a local model. The model you use is a third party's, under that third party's terms, and what they charge you is paid by you directly to them. We take no markup on inference on any plan, and we do not sit in the middle of that traffic.

3. Eligibility and your account

4. Plans, billing and refunds

4.1 What each plan includes

The complete tool catalogue is on every plan, including the free one. What changes between plans is the remote relay, the number of seats, templates, the openmon tier included, and support. The current detail is on the pricing page and it is part of these terms.

4.2 Billing and renewal

4.3 Refunds

If within 14 days of your first payment Buril is not for you, write to us and we refund it in full, no questions asked. After that, periods already billed are not refunded, unless the law where you live says otherwise — in which case the law wins. If we make a material change to these terms or to what your plan includes and you cancel because of it, we refund the unused part of anything you prepaid.

5. What you make is yours

We claim no rights over anything you produce using Buril — not the code, not the assets, not the scenes, not the game. To the extent we could be said to hold any right in output generated through the Services at your instruction, we assign it to you, in full, the moment it is generated. You may sell it, ship it, open-source it, or hand it to a client and bill them, without asking us and without owing us anything.

Two honest caveats that every tool built on language models shares: output may not be unique (someone else asking something similar may get something similar), and output can be wrong. You are responsible for reviewing what the agent produces before you ship it, the same way you would review a colleague's pull request.

And if you stop paying: you lose access to Buril and to whatever the subscription bundled, but everything you already built stays yours, unrestricted, forever.

6. What is ours

Buril's software, code, brand, documentation and the Services are ours. While your account is active we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use them for your own projects, commercial or not. You may not resell Buril, sublicense it, offer it to third parties as a service, strip its licence notices, or copy it to build a product that competes with it.

If you send us feedback or suggestions, we may use them freely and without obligation to you. Thank you in advance.

7. Your model provider is your business

Buril uses the API key you configure. Your use of the model is governed by that provider's terms — Anthropic, OpenAI, Google, or whoever — and their rules on retention, training and acceptable use apply to what you send them. We do not control those providers, we cannot change what they do with data sent under your key, and we are not responsible for their availability, their pricing, their output or their policies. If you run a local model, none of this applies: nothing leaves your machine.

8. Acceptable use

You may not use the Services to:

If any of these happen we may suspend or terminate the account. Where the situation allows it, we warn you first and give you a chance to fix it.

9. The bundled openmon licence

Paid plans include a licence to openmon MCE, tiered by plan (Lite with Indie, Pro with Studio, Source and Studio with Enterprise). That licence lives as long as your subscription is active. If you cancel, you lose access to openmon — but, as with everything else, you keep whatever you built with it, and any game you already shipped keeps working.

10. Availability

The bridge runs on your machine, so it does not depend on us being online. The remote relay and the account services are ours and can have outages; we work to keep them up and we tell you when they are not, but we do not promise an SLA outside the Enterprise plan, where one is agreed by contract. We may change, add or retire features of the hosted Services; if a change removes something your plan included, section 4.3 applies.

11. Warranties, and one thing to keep doing

The Services are provided as is. We do our best to make them work well and we measure them before shipping, but we do not warrant that they are error-free, uninterrupted, or fit for a particular purpose, and we disclaim implied warranties to the extent the law lets us.

Buril modifies your Unity project. Its tools integrate with the Editor's Undo system and try to keep every change reversible, but use version control anyway. That is your safety net, and keeping one is your responsibility.

12. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, our total liability for anything arising from the Services is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the event and US$100. We are not liable for lost profits, lost data you did not keep under version control, or indirect, incidental or consequential damages. Nothing in these terms limits a liability that the law does not allow to be limited — including for fraud, or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

13. Indemnity

If a third party brings a claim against us because of your breach of these terms, or because content you fed to the Services infringed their rights, you will cover the costs and damages that claim reasonably causes us. We will tell you promptly, let you lead the defence if you want to, and not settle on your behalf without your agreement.

14. Termination

You can stop using the Services and delete your account at any time. We can suspend or terminate your account for a breach of these terms, with prior notice where the situation allows it, and we will refund the unused part of any prepaid period unless the termination is for a serious breach. Sections 5, 6, 7, 11, 12, 13 and 16 survive termination.

15. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If a change is material we email you 30 days in advance, and the previous version stays available on request. If you disagree, cancel before it takes effect and we refund the unused part of anything you prepaid. Continuing to use the Services after the change takes effect means you accept it.

16. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the Argentine Republic. Disputes go to the ordinary courts of the City of Buenos Aires — we do not require arbitration and we do not ask you to waive class actions. If you are a consumer, nothing here removes the rights or the local forum that the consumer law of your own country grants you. Before either of us goes to court, we ask for one thing: write to hola@buril.ai first and give us 30 days to sort it out. Most problems are a bug, and we fix bugs.

17. Contact
